Quitters Never Win - We Are In The Gold Now!

Yeehaw!!!!  We are finally seeing some rich dirt in everyone's pockets.  I am so happy for all 3 (or 4 if you split Todd Hoffman's crew up) of the mining crews of the TV show "Gold Rush" on Discovery Channel. I just love this show because it is teaching us very profound lessons.  I am a huge fan of the Law of Attraction and I think this show promotes that belief system.  The Hoffmans, Dakota Boys, and the Schnabels all have dreams and goals of finding gold.  Yet a large amount of the time they are faced with machines breaking down, the season being too short, MSHA coming down on them, communication troubles, money issues and the environment in general........but do they quit?

Heck No!  They keep working through it and keep the dream alive.  All their hard work makes the finding of gold that much sweeter.  It is a powerful lesson for all of us who live in a time where "instant gratification" is in demand.  I read many posts by fans of Gold Rush and see how discouraged people can get over all the break downs and lack of gold being found.  To them I say,
"Watch closely and learn my friend, this show is teaching you how to be successful at reaching your dreams....no matter how far fetched your dream may seem...no matter how many obstacles get in they way, everyone can have their hearts desire if they keep the faith."

I like how Todd has set a goal each season for an exact amount he will recover. This season it is 1000 oz.
Wallace Wattles, inspirational author and speaker, says, "You must form a clear and definite mental picture of what you want.  You can not transmit an idea unless you have it yourself."
I think Todd has defined a clear picture of what he wants not only to himself but to all of us.  He has already recovered more gold this season than the other two seasons because he bumped up his dream to 1000 oz.  Some people may say he has failed each year by not making his goals.  But, if you study extremely successful people (like I do), you know that all successful people have been through countless failures before making it to their success.  Same will hold true for Todd.  He stays the course and does not let his failures defeat him.  He understands they are part of the growth for success.
We are getting a front row seat in watching a man as he goes through the "action" of becoming hugely successful. It is rather exciting to me!
Conrad Hilton, he of Hilton Hotels, says, "Success seems to be connected with action.  Successful people keep moving.  They make mistakes, but they don't quit."
And Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, says, "Patience, persistence, and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success."
Speaking of successful people, John Schnabel once told me, "Holly, do what ever you want in this life, the more successful you are at it, the less people will like you."
Guess that is why some folks have hard opinions of Todd Hoffman, Dakota Fred and others on the show. The Gold Miners are becoming more and more successful with each passing season.
So onward and upward Gold Miners of Gold Rush.  More power to you - keep up the good work!
